oooops ended up at A&E

Hello Everyone :wavey::wavey:

Sprocket and I had a really busy week last week (so did Oli and Soli) we had out PC camp. We went to Forest Edge arena near swaffham its a great place with fab facilities - mummy says to bear it in mind for a grown up HiPo camp!!. On monday on the first day Oli went Sj training in the indoor arena and Sprocket and I did some flatwork training in the outdoor arena. In the afternoon Oli went dressage to music and I went XC :clap::clap::clap::clap:. I was a bit nervous to start but there are lots of jumps of all sizes and abilities so there were lots for Sprocket and I. We had been going really well and mum was very proud (she came with our group as she is the PC 4 day trainied first aid so has to do the XC. In the middle of the course there is a big hollow, I had ridden into and out of the hollow several times and I wanted to jump the log out of the hollow. I rode up the hill out of the hollow with great determination and Sprocet whistled over the log at the top, then unfortunateley decided he was having such fun, poped his bum bum in the air, shook his head and i hit the deck:doh::bawling::bawling::bawling: I got back on but my ankle was really painful so I couldn't do any more. by tea time I couldnt stand on my ankle to instead of the evening activities mummy and I spent all evening in A&E, I had an Xray which the man let me look at (cool!!) and we spent ages waiting. We didn't get back to camp till about 11.15 p.m.!! fortunately it was't broken just sprained but the doctor said Ishouldn't ride all week :bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling: I had Tuesday off with it packed in ice but I was able to ride for the rest of the week, mummy kept packing it in ice between riding. There were some things I missed out on like the unmounted games and the unmounted barrel racing on the western evening but I was still able to do lots of riding. I even had a go at Polocross which was great fun, I thoroughly enjoyed the hack in the forest and I was able to do the ODE on the last day - including the XC. I had 1 stop at the first as I was very nervous but Sprocket and I had a great time, we even did the hollow but not the log at the top!. I got a clear in the SJ and 68½% in my dressage. Oli beat me he got 72.4%

Sprocket is having a couple of days rest now and I will rest my ankle as it is still a bit sore. When mummy gets the pics sorted out I can put them on here.

Wish you well Sprocks! You're a brave girl for getting back on. All part of being a "rider" I am afraid. I hope you are soon back in action again. You were clearly giving the other Pony Clubbers a run for their money.:clap::clap:
