URGENT LAST MINUTE POSTPONEMENT
Marilyn Page was due to host an HPEC lunch tomorrow but sadly has broken her leg quite badly and is in hospital so the lunch is to be postponed, her
husband and I have been trying to phone round to all who were scheduled to come this is a belt and braces for those who may not pick up the phone
messages. Please offer up lots of healing vibes for Marilyn, as far as her husband could gather she was mounting a pony from a block and the pony
moved causing her to fall and then the pony caught her leg with its hoof damaging the top of the tibia.

Hello All
Thank you for the lovely messages. I am in bed, but have been enjoying Mother's Day with a roast dinner cooked by Ian and enjoyed with my daughter. I
am due to have an operation on Thursday. They will mend my tibia with a metal plate and a few pins. Hopefully I should be recovered in about two
months..... any ideas for amusement while laid up in bed would be gratefully received x

Marilyn I've just come off of box rest for a broken fibula. Didn't need an operation on it but did have my shoulder pinned last June and was laid up
then too.
Lots of my friends sent me some great horsey DVD's to watch which helped while away the time. I also managed to read quite a bit which was nice.
Having the laptop to keep up to date on the Forums was a godsend. And although it doesn't seem like it, it will hopefully pass quicker than you
think.
Good luck with the op on Thursday and here's to a swift and straightforward recovery.
A couple of practical things - if your shower is over your bath like ours is then one of the bath boards is just perfect to be able to safely and
comfortably shower. And don't bother buying one of the covers they sell to cover your cast, we used bin liners on mine with lots of duck tape. Very
glamorous - not - but it did the job.
